Introduction

Arturo Millán

Inés Silva is a Venezuelan artist of international renown. She earned her Bachelor Degree in Architecture from Universidad Central de Venezuela (UCV), and is co-founder of the Madi Group in Venezuela. Inés devotes herself to the research and the composition of structures, by using golden ratios and combinatorial analysis.

Inés’s works have been shown in the 2003 exhibition VI Salón Pirelli of Young Artists, and in the First Biennial of Art in the Faculty of Architecture of UCV, as well as in exhibitions in museums and art galleries in Germany, USA, Russia, Hungary, France, Italy, Colombia and Venezuela.

For the Francisco Narváez Museum of Contemporary Art, this exhibit represents a great achievement and a stimulus for the audience to get to know the work of one of the youngest representatives of the expansionist group in Venezuela and the avant-garde movement of international Abstract Art.
